About us
Horse management since 2000
JB Equestrian Services is run by Julia Bodman at Maes Knoll Farm, Pensford, and has evolved with what owners need for over twenty years.
Welfare first, always
We offer every type of horse management, from specialised box rest and rehabilitation, through part and full livery, to schooling and training of horses and riders in all three disciplines.
Alongside long-term livery we take horses for shorter stays: holidays, fittening, schooling and rehabilitation. This year we've also opened a dedicated annex for horses in or out of training, including point-to-point qualification and training.
Our ethos is that happy, educated horses lead to happy, educated riders. Whether you hack or compete at any level, our focus is the welfare and enjoyment of both horse and rider.
Qualified & caring
Qualified staff look after your horse, with 24-hour security and care on the yard.
All three disciplines
Schooling and training for dressage, showjumping and eventing, for horse and rider.
Short or long stays
Long-term livery, or a few weeks for holidays, fittening, schooling or rehab.
